Finding information can be hard. Need Help?
Community Navigators are local volunteers who help older people find information on enjoyable activities and useful services

No question is too big or too small. Information is tailored to needs and can be about both the fun and the practical. It could be anything from finding leisure and social activities to where to get financial advice, transport or help to stay independent at home. Contact us and we will do our utmost to find an answer to your query. Our job is to find out what is available; it’s then your choice what to do and we are here to help

Examples of information we can provide:

  • Car Schemes and help with transport
  • Luncheon clubs
  • Mobility aids
  • Help to access benefits
  • Point you toward our Help at Home service – Free short term practical and emotional help after a hospital stay, crisis or illness at home.
How can I help?
Just knowing what support is available can make older people feel safer, more connected to their community and able to stay independent and healthy for longer.

We are looking for people from Parson Drove with a desire to help their community.
You can get involved by:
• Volunteering

You only need give a few hours each month. Training, support and expenses are provided.
Inviting us to your meetings or events
We will be able to explain our projects and how they can help.
• Tell us about your organisation
We have information about 1200 organisations, gathered from the 2500 navigations we did across the county last year, but we would love to hear about things we have missed in and around Parsons Drove.
